This lockdown is killing my SL! I have another issue today, the central locking has stopped working. The red LED flashes on the keys but the doors and boot don't unlock. I can access the car manually with the key and open the boot with the door switch, the locks all operate from the internal locking/unlocking buttons, the soft close boot works

Put Key in Car Ignition. Take Self, Do not turn on the Engine and Remove Key. Tap Alarm Button 4 Times Continuously and Keep Pressing it for 5th Time, till an alarm sound comes in. Now continue pressing Alarm Button and also press Lock Button on the Key simultaneously. It implies that Security Alarm System is activated in Car.

I have a 1993 E36 BMW and im haveing trouble with the central locking When i put the key in the door (drivers side) and lock it, the car locks and straight away unlocks:tsk: (with in a matter of 2 seconds) When i try the passenger side door, it just llocks the passenger door If the fuse is not blown, they will try to repair the car's central locking system. If the car's central locking system is beyond repair, they will replace it with a new one. 2. Inspect the Door Lock Actuators.
